What is Brezhnev's?
Brezhnev's is a restaurant in Chinatown which is known by others as King
Fung Garden. Ever since Roger (who spoke Mandarin and got us on good terms
with Brezhnev himself) first went there, we've called it Brezhnev's, 'cause
where else is a down-on-his luck but hard-working communist to go when Marx
falls out of favor? Of course, now everybody calls it that, but
that's the price you pay for being trend-setters.
But, how's the food?
It's delicious, of course. Brezhnev's features Northern Chinese
cuisine, which is largely wheat based, unlike the rice-based South
China cuisine which is more commonly found in American restaurants. We
never go without ordering at least one scallion pie per person and an
order of Shanghai Chow-Mein.
But don't take our word for it! Check out this rave review of
Brezhnev's.
How do I get there?
