We thank you for helping us out! This page attempts to explain all of the questions involved in donation.

Why should I donate?

As a fraternity, we need help now more than ever. Our aging house and increased expenses of have put some financial strain on us, and we can always increase our savings for major repairs. When you provide your payment, you can specify what you want to use the donation for, and we can mark that in our books.
A few of the ways we can use the money:

• Covering the cost of a new water heater
• A new keyboard (something like this)
• Other house repairs
• Your idea here

Did you recieve my payment?

Once we enter your payment in our accounting books, we will try to send you a receipt in a timely manner. Just send us an email address (we get one with paypal) or if you prefer a mailing address let us know and we will send the receipt there.

How to donate

It's in our best interest to make it as easy as possible for you to give us money. Therefore, we are providing you with many options below. Below, you will find that we take money in the following forms:

• Checks
• Paypal payments
• Bank transfers
• Credit cards

Fee Free Payments

Any of the below methods of payment in this section are preferred to the ones that involve fees.

• 1. Using Paypal Personal Payments
  

  To use Paypal without incurring a fee:

  1. Create a Paypal account
  2. Link it with a bank account of yours
  3. Log in, click on "Send Money"
  4. Under "To", enter tepz-money@mit.edu.
  5. Enter the amount.
  6. Make sure you click on "Personal" (this is important)
  7. Select what type of payment this is (Gift, Owed payment, etc),
  8. Click on "Continue"
  9. Review the payment, click "Send Money" when you're satisfied
  10. We will (likely) accept your payment and we get the full amount ;-)

  To send us a check, make it out to:

  Please note that if you have a Paypal account, it would be better to use that rather than a direct credit card payment—the fees are lower. Remember: You can tell Paypal to stop the monthly donations at any time.
